Hi and welcome! I’m Hyeshil (pronounced hèh-shil). I’m a Korean-Dutch illustrator, graphic designer and teacher based in Amsterdam. My drawings are all handmade, using mostly pencil, fineliner and copic markers. Clients include Het Parool, Nationale Opera & Ballet and Volkshotel. I also have a background in graphic design and art direction (ELLE, Vogue, agency work). In my illustrations I love playing with proportions, drawing the little spirits I see in nature and creating a gentler world.
